Willem de Kooning Academy

Bachelor in Spatial Design

This academy became a pinnacle of architectural education and a dream environment for my artistic development. Within it, I had the freedom and opportunities to fulfill my potential and to shape a clearly focused direction for my future career — a niche spatial design practice where a spiritual and psychological approach meets with biophilic architecture, where space is treated as an external structure that can be connected with structures of our worldview, and directly influences human perception, lifeflow, and well-being.

Alongside this, I advanced my skills in Rhinoceros and other 3D modeling and rendering software. I studied digital and physical fabrication and various research methods, coped with diverse challenges, fulfilled all assignments,  and gained experience in project management.

Azulik Roth Architects, Mexico, Tulum

Internship in Architectural Design

My internship at Roth Architects, part of the iconic Azulik brand in the Jungle City of Art, was a dream come true and a transformative job experience in Mexican Organica architecture with a unique, holistic approach. Renowned for redefining architecture through its deep connection to nature and art.

The studio offered a unique environment blending innovative ventures

in architecture, fashion, ceramics, and cuisine.

During my time there, I contributed to the design of Azulik Residences and Azulik Villas projects, integrating biomimic forms, designing concepts, 3D models, renders, and conducting research. I used and advanced my skills in 3D modeling (Rhinoceros, Revit) and project coordination while collaborating with artisans and interdisciplinary teams. This immersive experience deepened my passion for creating innovative spaces that harmonize with nature, honor cultural narratives, and connect deeply with human well-being.

2007 - 2016

AIST Private Family School

2018 - 2020

Kyiv National University of Architecture

Bachelor in Architecture of Civil Buildings

Here, I gained a solid classical foundation in professional architectural approaches and advanced a lot of essential skills, such as architectural drafting, planning, documentation, descriptive geometry, and composition.

Also, I faced real challenges and had a lot of experience with managing myself. I had accomplished 6 projects there before I made a decision to relocate and apply to Willem de Kooning Academy in the Netherlands.

I made this decision because I had realized that I also need to obtain more innovative knowledge and approaches, in a modern design environment

2016 - 2018

Studying at the Salvador Dali Academy of Contemporary Arts in Kyiv provided a strong foundation in contemporary art and design. Here, I fulfilled my high school education in contemporary art and design. I discovered the Artistic world and defined my path towards Architecture. I began to develop a clear artistic vision and gained essential artistic and design skills.

Primary and Middle school

Where I realized my dreams and talents, found a special approach for myself, deeply explored environmental sciences, and developed myself as an adult. In addition, I am so thankful for the sophisticated system of this school, which helped me to stay myself and supported me in building a unique worldview as an artist, as well as to rely on myself and learn my individual needs.

Which positions I could take as an employee:

  • Spatial Designer/Architect (assistant): In this role, I would continue to design spaces (ideally with a focus on creating environments that promote mindfulness and personal transformation). My responsibilities may include conceptual design, designing 3D models of buildings, creating floor plans, sections, and facades, visualizations, and presentations. In addition, collaborate with clients to understand their spiritual and psychological needs.

  • Interior designer: Specializing in interior design would enable me to create mindful and spiritually enriching interiors within existing structures. I would work on selecting furnishings, color schemes, and materials that align with the unique needs of the space usage or the unique organization of the inner world of the tenant.

  • Wellness Design Specialist: This emerging field combines design with principles of well-being. My responsibilities may include designing spaces for meditation, yoga, or other wellness practices, as well as incorporating natural elements and sustainable materials.

  • Retreat Center / Resort Designer: If I'm particularly interested in retreat centers, I could work as a designer specializing in creating spaces that facilitate personal transformation, mindfulness, and spiritual growth. This role would involve particular research on retreat center objectives and translating them into design concepts.

  • Architectural Psychologist: Combining my knowledge of psychology and architecture, I could design spaces that enhance the mental and emotional well-being of occupants. My responsibilities may involve conducting user research and analyzing the psychological impact of different design choices.

  • Mindfulness Space Planner: In this role, I would focus on designing spaces specifically tailored for mindfulness practices, meditation, and spiritual reflection. My responsibilities may include layout planning, selection of materials, and creating environments conducive to tranquility and self-awareness.
